Innovation and Neuroscience
Creative Direction and Editorial Design

For the Champalimaud Foundation, particularly for the Champalimaud Neuroscience Programme, we developed various publications and reports, aiming to communicate the achievements and research outcomes conducted by some of the most prestigious researchers in the field of neuroscience.
Em cada publicação foi procurado um conceito distinto, capaz de transmitir a originalidade e a singularidade do pensamento científico representado.

Symbolic Creative Strategy

The dividers for the different research areas were designed using paper cutout creations, which, serving as covers, sought to represent concepts linked to each domain of neuroscience — such as behaviors, circuits, or learning pathways.

Rigorous Portrait of Research

The cover illustrations were hand-drawn with pencil and chalk, seeking to rigorously and in detail portray the most representative figures and images of each research area.

Record and Science

We did the design and layout of the institution’s LabBook — a book that records experiments, processes, and conclusions of the work developed in the laboratory, among other graphic communication materials created for scientific and institutional events.Creative graphic solutions integrated and developed with the design team in collaboration with the scientists.
